Backpacking With Woodglue's video: Scary Bear Encounter on Western States Trail

My sister (goblin) and I have hiked several trips together on the Pacific Crest Trail as well as the Trans Catalina Trail. While you may recognize her from my other videos, you probably wouldn't know that she has taken up backpacking in her own backyard. This week she encountered a pair of bear cubs on a training hike! Goblin says: Today was just another typical day on trail for me... Until I came around a bend and saw this... 2 baby bears about 10 feet up a tree right in front of me. I backed up quickly and made a bunch of noise, not knowing where the mama bear was. I decided it was better to get outta there before she decides she doesn't like me being so close to her babies. So I walked past them. 😁😳 I've been on trails for hundreds of miles. This was by far the most awesome experience and the most terrifying experience at the same time. 👍🐻🐻⤴️🌲 You go Goblin! Very Brave!
