Balleka's video: Knee Deep in the Gnarliness

@Knee Deep in the Gnarliness
Flying north along the Parcour pretty late in the evening, I ended up lower than I have ever been, near Tete de l'Estrop and after continuing on I ran out of bottle on Michelin as I thought I was too low to make the north side of it work. I turned around to climb in the little bit of buoyant air I had just passed through and then worked the south side of Michelin until I was high enough to continue on to Dormillouse. Beautiful evening colours on the mountains. The safety field at Seyne is visible to the right of the FLARM arial at 4:50 and was within my 20:1 escape range however up until that point it was obscured from view, showing the importance of knowing exactly where you are when flying in the mountains. In the words of Christian, the La Motte CFI "When you get low, the scenery can get even more overwhelming!"
