Our recent trip to Portmoak was plagued by poor weather. We were able to fly on 2 days, with the second occasion graced by a North wind and crystal clear visibility. The air was too unstable for proper wave to set up but I was lucky enough to score a few minutes of smooth lift to take me above cloud base for a while before returning to the joys of smoking Benarty and Lomand.
