One sure fire way to get the juices flowing is buzzing along a mountain side in a glider. The grin is guaranteed to be cheesy! First half is Pen Y Fan the highest point in the Brecon Beacons at 2907'. An particular iconic moment for me was having to ridge soar it's western slopes during my first 500km flight so getting a chance to repeat that experience was stupendous. The second half is a run along the Black Mountains near Talgarth the home ridge of the Black Mountains Gliding Club. What a great place to fly!
