The first few days of our autumn expedition to Denbigh was plagued by south easterly wind and rain until the day before we were due to leave when a cold front pushed through from the north west clearing the air and energising the ridge. The northerly component of the wind meant the Prestatyn end of the ridge was reachable and the unstable air even produced some weak thermals just off the coast :-) Music: Mystify - INXS
