The “Amor por el Barrio” exhibition portraits in 30 photographs a glimpse of the daily lives of citizens of a vulnerable neighborhood in Buenos Aires going through a deep transformation. Such project, financed by the World Bank, is opening the neighborhood to the rest of city and will radically improve the livelihoods of its residents. The pictures were captured by a group of young neighbors trained in photography techniques composition by Reza, an international award-winning photojournalist. Now the World Bank together with the City of Buenos Aires, the French Embassy in Argentina, and the National Government of Argentina are sharing this work widely, reaching more audiences by bringing the “Amor por el Barrio” photography Exhibit to a virtual format.
