Banim's video: Final Fantasy XI: Rhapsodies of Vana diel - Music: Wail of the Void

@Final Fantasy XI: Rhapsodies of Vana'diel - Music: Wail of the Void
Long time no upload! I've spent the last few months playing FFXI, doing all of the story as I'm a big FF fan. Despite being a pretty old MMO, it's still pretty active and fun to play in my opinion, and I've enjoyed my time in the game so far. This is the music that plays during the last boss of the story finale. It's not often, as far as I know, that MMOs actually reach an ending. I found this theme to be pretty unique as far as final battles go. It's certainly not the only final boss out there with this kind of melody, but the circumstances surrounding the choice of theme are special. It sets the mood perfectly for what's "goodbye" after over a decade since the game released. The fleeting images of various moments, characters and locales in the game add to the nostalgia. It's been about two years since this final story came out but the game still isn't showing signs of closing its doors any time soon. So whether you've never played and have a spot for older games, or an old FFXI veteran that played many years ago, I'd recommend giving the game a chance. There's a free trial out there, at least. On a different note, the sound quality didn't come out as good as I expected. I usually never record from games and my PC is kind of a potato, so that might be why. Or I used a bad format to produce the video. Either way, I hope you are able to enjoy the music.
