[Transcript] Dr. Lunan Ji: My name is Dr. Lunan Ji, I am a urologist with Baptist Health Medical Group. Medicine actually came as almost a second career for me. When I first finished my undergraduate education, I actually worked as an investment analyst in New York City. During that time, I realized I wanted a more gratifying career, and I made a change and went on to medical school. Some common illnesses we treat include erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, other voiding issues like overactive bladder, kidney stones, as well as a whole host of urologic cancers, involving the prostate, bladder, as well as a kidney. There's been so much advancements in technology, in the last decade, in terms of robotic surgery, in terms of minimally invasive surgery, has really allowed us to perform procedures and allow our patients to have a faster recovery, as well as better outcomes. Quality of life really plays a huge role in treatment decisions in my field. And especially since a lot of the diseases we treat have such a huge impact on quality of life for our patients. So when we formulate a treatment plan for our patient, we really do focus on that.
