I've covered the 3 basic face masks that I swear by all year round and the ones that have genuinely worked for me. Of course, these are masks that I have discovered overtime and something that suits my skin. So please ensure you do a skin test before you apply these on your face. With summers here already and each day getting hotter than ever, do try these masks to keep your face fresh and healthy. Editor: Naresh Jagadappa Mask 1 - The Citrus Blast Scrub (for exfoliation) - 2 spoons dried orange peel powder - 1 spoon lemon juice - 1 spoon honey - Half spoon rose water - 1 spoon crystallized sugar Lightly scrub on a washed face and neck for about 4 minutes.. Leave it on for another 10 mins and wash it off. Moisturize immediately after. Mask 2 - The Choco-caffeine Mask (for deep cleansing with coffee and nourishment from the chocolate) - 2 spoons unsweetened chocolate chips - 2 spoons raw milk - heat in a microwave for 10-15 seconds for the chocolate chips to dissolve - 1 spoon powdered oats - 1 spoon ground coffee - half a spoon olive oil if your skin is extra - dry. If it's not, the chocolate and milk will do the needful for moisture. Leave it on a washed face and neck for about 10-15 minutes and wash it off. Mask 3 - The Grandmommy's mask (for overall nourishment and de-tanning) - 2 spoons gram flour (besan) - 1/4th spoon turmeric - 1 spoon curd - 1 spoon tomato pulp - 1 spoon honey - Half spoon rose water - 1 spoon lemon juice Leave this on your skin for 10-15 minutes and wash it off. Moisturize immediately after.
