Learn How to Format an Excel Spreadsheet, With this Excel Formatting Beginner to Advanced, Microsoft Excel Format Tutorial In this video we will look at exactly how to format an Excel spreadsheet with a simple to follow step by step tutorial. We will look at how to use Excel’s formatting options to add color and emphasis to particular areas of our MIcrosoft Excel Worksheet. We begin by looking how we can edit our Text entries on our Excel worksheet by adding italics, underlines, and bold text. Then we look at how to change the color and font style. Then we look at how to format our Excel backgrounds for each Excel Cell. We can change the colors and get our data to really stand out and easy to read. Then we look at how to Add a border to Cells in our Excel worksheet, then we look at how to remove borders on our Excel worksheet, then we look at Format the border in Excel. We will make the borders thicker, thinner, change border colors, turn on left,right, bottom, and top borders. Then we look at how to change our Excel Data types, we can toggle between an Excel Number, Date, General, Text, Currency, Percentage, and Accounting data type to name a few. We can even set-up custom data types. Then we look at how to use the Excel format painter to copy and paste our Excel formats all over our Excel Spreadsheet. Then we move into using Excel Cell styles to create pre made Excel Cell Styles and place them all over our Excel Worksheets and Workbooks. Then we can easily change our Colors across all our Excel Worksheets and Workbooks just by editing our Cell Style. We can also remove and delete our Excel Cell Styles. Then we look at how to merge our Excel cells together and how to unmerge our Excel cells. We can use the Merge and UnMerge button to toggle between merged and umerged cells. Then we can merge and centre our data. Which leads us into Aligning our Excel data to Left Align, Right Align, Centre Align, Top Align, Bottom Align, and Centre align. While Indenting and unindenting our data. Finally, we look at one of Excel's most powerful features which is the Excel Conditional Formatting so we can automate our formatting based on parameters we enter into Excel.
