The Great Crypto Escape's video: How to Link Excel Shapes to Excel Cells and Link Shapes to Excel Formulas to Create Dynamic Drawings

@How to Link Excel Shapes to Excel Cells and Link Shapes to Excel Formulas to Create Dynamic Drawings
Learn How to Link Excel Shapes to Excel Cells and Excel Formulas to Create Dynamic Drawings in this Excel Dynamic Drawings Tutorial. In this Microsoft Excel Tutorial, we will create a Shape in an Excel worksheet. Then we will create some text and some numbers in some Excel Cells. Then we will link the Excel Cells to our Shape in our Excel sheet so that when we change a number in our Excel Cell, that number will then update on our shape. Then we will add formulas into our Excel Cells and link these Excel formulas to our Excel Shape. Meaning everytime numbers are entered into our formula, this will update our Excel shape. This technique creates a dynamic shape in Excel or a dynamic drawing in Excel that can have measurements changed within the drawing/shape with just a few clicks of a button. An application of this excel dynamic drawing technique could be to create a diagram with the area and lengths of the sides of a square or a rectangle or a triangle displayed in it. Then we could update our diagram just by making changes in our Excel cells that dynamically update the visualized measurements on our shapes. I hope you find this useful, enjoy :) For more on this topic, we recommend checking out this blog post: https://www.instructables.com/Create-Dynamic-Shapes-in-Excel-With-Variable-Conte/ - Click on the drawn object and select it. - Click in the Excel formula bar and type the equal sign (=). -Type the address of the cell you want to connect to this shape or simply click on the cell to select it.
