This week for 412nes I sat down with Jaye Hill for his debut EP "SWEAT"s Release at The Funhouse at Mr. Smalls. Jaye Hill is a 21 year old rapper/singer/songwriter/producer from the 724! Jaye is a lyricist at heart, he combines melody and elements of pop and R&B music into his rhymes to create his own sound. Some of his inspiratikno comes from artists such as Eminem, Will Smith, Drake, Kanye West and many more. Jaye's single "My Hometown" is on "Sweat" is about Pittsburgh, his family and friends. This is a song hes been working on for years and revamped it to be on his EP as it's a meaningful and catchy jam.
