To be clear, this song comes from Civilization 4, fourth sequel from the original, and was developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games (Windows) and Aspyr (Mac). It's just amazing how this song, composed by Christopher Tin, is able to capture the essence of humanity, kind of having a tribal feeling to it, connecting with humanity's origin on Africa, but still feels sophisticated enough that it has that air of grandiosity seen in the Classical and Medieval periods, coming all the way to the future, where such a mix can be heard. It almost becomes an anthem for humanity, that celebrates our accomplishments, the good and the bad.
