Fighting the big disgusting monster and meeting Ashley opens up the opportunity to see how the remake is going to change the gameplay coming forward. It might not look like it but they changed a hell lot with Ashley which I'll discuss a little more in the next episode as well. Its not even just the Nostalgia, they actually changed and made it so people with the 2023 mindset like the game more. They changed her from being a scared teenager to a matured lady who knows what she is doing. Changing the whole personality of the character is a big change for a game.
