The Beattie team worked with Yorkshire Cancer Research to launch the charity’s largest summer fundraiser, ‘Give it some welly’, in a bid to give cancer the boot… With the support of the World Cup winning cricketer Adil Rashid, we brought two quintessential Yorkshire traditions head to head - cricket and welly wanging! We had a number of journalists across the region come down to go head-to head with Adil, resulting in widespread broadcast, online, print and social coverage across the region.
