(see below or in comments for donation information) Years ago we started exploring the possibility of a tiny house. Going back and forth between a "normal" and lots of land or a host of alternatives kind of left us stuck. But, I have ALWAYS wanted to live on the road and to live a minimalist lifestyle until we can get a true homestead. When my mother got sick in April of 2021, I decided that if she lived I would devote my life to taking care of her. Unfortunately, she passed away in May, but while she was in the hospital I started feeling this strong urge to live on the road. I told her I'd be there for her if she wanted to live, I wasn't going anywhere. Now that she's no longer with us, and my children are grown and settled, there's nothing to stop me anymore. My husband is on board, so let's do it! I guess driving a big rig as a truck driver prepared me for road life and living in a small space for long periods of time. It's almost like living in a tiny house for real. Converting our Skoolie into a tiny home and living in it will be the next step. We will also rent it out on AirBnb, as many people are opting for tiny homes, including buses, for their vacation getaways. We'll also have the luxury of living off-grid and having a kind of bugout life, even though we aren't preppers. LOL! The possibilities are endless. This is a 2004 Thomas Built Freightliner school bus chassis, 11 window, 40 passenger bus with a Cat diesel engine. It runs really well, only has one previous owner (a school system), and has pretty low miles. By the way, it's really hard work taking the seats out of a school bus FYI!
