MMTS service commenced between Secunderabad and Medchal as part of phase -2 operations. This provides much needed connectivity from northern part of city to Secunderabad. Under phase -2, Falaknuma to Umdanagar, Bolarum to Medchal, Secunderabad to Ghatkesar and Moulali to Sanathnagar were planned and most of the work is completed on all stretches except Moulali to Sanathnagar section. This video was captured at Cavlary Barracks, a suburban station on Secunderabad - Medchal section and 12 coaches 3 phase MMTS rakes are used for service now.
