Review: So after some really bad luck two tyre punctures in the space of a few days I decide while the car was off the road to fit some new wheels at the same time. I ordered the Work Emotion GT5 wheel, which you can only order through the 'JDM Concept' store as they were made in collaboration between both companies. So they're a bit of a rare wheel considering Works popularity, especially outside of Australia I would imagine. I found it difficult to find out much information on the internet about these wheels considering their rarity and there was no shop, no car meet, or anyone else that had these on their car to look at. But my car was off the road and I needed it back asap! So I took the gamble, and I'm pretty happy with the choice. But I do think this stye will be a love or it hate kind of rim. I thought I would put a more detailed video together bout my experience with information, lots of visuals, fitment, tyres and so on. So hopefully it can help you! I feel like a lot of Subaru guys would skip past these wheels as they're not 9.5" wide, just 9" but the fitment was trouble free so far (not lowered here) and they still fit flush and fit no worries with MUCH cheaper stock tyres (compared to 255/35/18 that you would likely need to run on a 9.5" width rim at a stock height. I hope this was helpful for anyone thinking of the Work / JDM Concept GT5 wheels for their 2015 - 2020 Subaru WRX STI or any other generation of Subaru. That said, If a 19x9.5"+38 was to ever come out.. Perfect! Cheers, Ben Cad Hash Tags: Music: Courtesy of the Youtube Audio Library. Copyrighted.
