Now, with the release of the new P1000, is the best time to invest in the P900 as it will be significantly cheaper. The video compares the zoom of the Nikon P900 and the Canon 7d mkii with 100-400mm lens. I have used an example where I could see a deer across the other side of a large field using binoculors however, using a normal camera you would not be able to see the deer. The Nikon P900 2000mm zoom means you can get up close and personal to wildlife without ever having to disturb them. You can see in this video I managed to do just that and I was lucky enough to spot a young roe deer. Wildlife phography is incredible and amazing. It is even more amazing when uing the nikon p900 to get that little bit closer to the animals.
