Ben Fitzcosta's video: Painted Lady Caterpillar: Turning into a Chrysalis Part 1

In the first episode I show you behind the scene footage of how I filmed Painted lady caterpillars turning into their chrysalis. Part 2 will show how I filmed their chrysalis hatching into painted lady butterflys. I am using the Canon 7D MKII, but these camera settings or at least most of them can also be used other Canon cameras :) As a wildlife photographer it is important to diversify your subjets in order to build on my photography skills and knowledge. This is why I decided to film the life cycle of painted lady butterflies. This experiance of watching the painted lady butterfly life cycle has taught me alot about painted lady butterflys and macro photography and I highly recomend it to anyone who is interested in learning macro photography. painted lady butterflys are amazing animals and it was an amazing experiance to witness their life cycle first hand.
