The google pixel 2 (and others these days) have amazing cameras! Nearly all of us have the ability to create a film with the camera at our fingertips. Mobile phones are incredible and can capture some truely amazing footage. The google pixel 2 used in this film can shot macro, time-lapse and slow-motion, this with a bit of creativity can be the perfect combination to making your very own film. I am using the google pixel 2 but you could just as easily make a short film using any phone with a camera, all it takes is a bit of creative thinkning. In this video I'm experimenting with budget filmmaking by putting down the expensive gear and going out with only my mobile phone and some ideas. I think more people should get out there and try creating a short film just like this, its amazing what ideas you come up with that you would not normally think of. I created a short wildlife film using my google pixel 2 about my local nature reserve and the dangers they have to overcome. Plastic is one hot topic right now and after making this film I realise why! It is important we all get out there and do our bit for the plant and for nature.
