@A night market selling Asian street foods, deserts and gifts - Chinatown Night Markets - Haymarket
More an Asian street food market, available are food snacks and desserts from most Asian countries. Its a take away eat on the move place as there are no tables and seats. We had the delicious Japanese squid balls and Malaysian skewers. Check out the ice cream made in front of you, will try that next time around. Apart from the food tents, there are stalls selling costume jewellery, mobile phone cases, anime figurines, potpourri, potted plants, clothing and the kids favorite stickers and patches. Best way to get there is by public transport or you can drive in after 6pm and take advantage of the after hours flat rate parking stations. We trained into the city and wanted to try the new light rail system. Finally finished it replacing Sydney city buses reducing traffic congestion in the CBD., it was only opened to the public six days ago. The market can get quite busy as it is on the Friday night and on busy Dixon food Street. We went during daylight savings in summer, so not quite night yet. Toilets can be found inside the food courts. location Dixon Street Plaza, Haymarket, Sydney Trading Days & Times Open every Friday. Trading from 4.00 pm–11.00pm soundtrack Lau_Tzu_Ehru - Doug Maxwell
