Best Sydney Parks's video: A peaceful tranquil walk or a full body workout its got it all - Marsden Park - Campbelltown

Don't get this park mixed up with Marsden Park North West of Sydney or the suburb in Blacktown. We are in Campbelltown, Marsden Park also called Park Central. It is located within a short walking distance to Macarthur Square, Campbelltowns main shopping centre. It is situated with Campbelltowns health district on one side and residential on the other. Birunji Creek runs right down the centre creating 3-4 small lakes, these make a fantastic environment for wetland birds, we did notice a pair of finches hunting for insects. A quiet place to relax, being close to the Hospitals parking may be a problem during the week, parking around the park has a 3h (non metered) time limit. Shared Walking/ bike riding paths run around and through the park making it a fantastic walk in the mornings. There are toilets, water refill station exercise equipment and children's playground in the park. BBQ's and sheltered picnic tables and seats are scattered throughout the park if you want to picnic, or you can just walk to the shops and bring back some lunch.
