The one and only (Old) Lai Huat Seafood Restaurant in Singapore since 1950s. Founded by Lim Soon Teck, 72 who started selling on a push cart along Garden Street (铁巴刹) in the 50s (original name克莱德台市场, Clyde Terrace Market) built in 1874 and later move to Ophir Road which they are known as Belacen fish selling under a Big Tree. Due to their popularity, there are other “Lai Huat” surface in Singapore but they are not the original one.
