A walk around Christie's New York to see the items in André Leon Talley Estate up for auction. February 14, 2023. The auction benefits Abyssinian Baptist Church in New York and Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Durham, North Carolina. I also read that SCAD (The Savannah College of Art and Design) also received donations from his estate. He was leaving Rizzoli Bookstore in the Flatiron District in the mid-2010s and getting into a car.
