BeverageUnderground's video: Passion Foundation Benefits From First Cigar Bar Golf Tournament

(Fort Myers, Florida) The First ever World Famous Cigar Bar Golf Tournament is in the books and all the players and sponsors were winners in their goal to raise both awareness and money for the locally based Passion Foundation. The Passion Foundation (passion-foundation.org) was founded by Jon and Tara Parla, after she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastic Melanoma. Her battle for life began over two years ago but together and as a family, their goal was to immediately raise awareness to help mitigate melanoma by providing shade for our children. Well over $12,000 was raised in this single day event by local businesses and friends of Jon and Tara Parla to celebrate her life and her vision to bring awareness and a solution to the dangers of the sun and its harmful UV Rays. Tara Parla lost her battle to melanoma on September 6,2012. The Event was an all-day outing that began with a 72-player 'fun scramble' that was held at Grandezza Country Club in Fort Myers on Thursday October 18 and once the scorecards were completed the night continued with a dinner and award ceremony at The World Famous Cigar Bar at their Gulf Coast Town Center location.
