"Maria - die Helferin vom Kleinen Berge", wie wir sie auf einem wundersamen Ausflug zum Marienwallfahrtsort Kleinenberg am 17.07.2020 erlebten. Der Komet Neowise ist in diesen Tagen sichbar.... Unsere liebe Frau manifestierte sich in dem Gnadenbild, das jetzt in der der Wallfahrtskirche im Hochaltar steht. Es gibt dort schon seit vielen hundert Jahren eine Quelle, wo auch eine Marienfigur zu Ehren der Gottesmutter aufgestellt wurde. Das Wasser hat offensichtlich heilende Eigenschaften, besonders für die Augen. "An der Stelle der Wallfahrtskirche fand vor vielen hundert Jahren ein Schäfer ein Hölzernes Bildnis Mariens mit dem Gottessohne auf dem linken Arm. Er brachte die Figur zum Pfarrer und erzählte von seinem Fund. Dieser stellte das Bild Mariens in der Pfarrkirche auf. Doch anderntags war es verschwunden. Der Schäfer fand die Statue wieder hier im Dornbusch an der Quelle. Er eilte zum Ortspfarrer und berichtete von seinem neuerlichen Fund. Gemeinsam liefen sie zur Schafherde und fanden die Statue an dieser Stelle. Wieder brachte der Pfarrer das wundersame Bildnis in die Pfarrkirche und schloß es im Sakramentshäuschen bei den Hostien ein. Doch auch diese zusätzliche Sicherungsmaßnahme sollte nicht ausreichend sein. Am dritten Tage fan der Schäfer das hölzerne Marienbildnis ebenfalls wieder an dem bekannten Ort vor. Man mußte erkennen, dass sich die Statue nicht wegschließen ließ und kam zu der Überzeugung, hier draußen vor den Toren der mittelalterlichen Stadt der Mutter Gottes eine kleine Kapelle errichten zu müssen. Die Gottesmutter wollte offensichtlich hier einen festen Platz zu ihrer Verehrung einnehmen." So hilft sie hier schon viele Jahrhunderte hindurch ihren gläubigen Kindern. Wer auf sie vertraut, ist noch nie enttäuscht worden. Eine genau Datierung der Statue ist nicht möglich. Kunsthistoriker vermuten die Entstehungszeit wegen der geschwungenen Körperlinie in der Zeit der Gotik (1100 bis ca. 1450 n. Chr.). The comet Neowise is visible these days. Our dear Lady manifested itself in the image of grace that is now visible in the pilgrimage church in the high altar. There has been a spring there for many hundreds of years, where a statue of Mary in honor of the Blessed Mother was also placed. The water obviously has healing properties, especially for the eyes. "At the site of the pilgrimage church, a shepherd found a wooden portrait of the Virgin Mary with the Son of God on his left arm many hundreds of years ago. He brought the figure to the priest and told about his find. He put the image of Mary in the parish church. But it disappeared the next day. The shepherd found the statue again here in the thorn bush at the spring. He hurried to the local pastor and reported on his new find. Together they ran to the flock of sheep and found the statue at this point. The pastor brought the miraculous portrait back to the parish church and locked it up in the sacrament house near the hosts. But this additional security measure was also not sufficient. On the third day the shepherd also found the wooden portrait of the Virgin in the same familiar place. You had to realize that the statue could not be locked and they came to the belief to build a small chapel out here at the gates of the medieval city for the Mother of God . The Blessed Mother obviously wanted to take a permanent place for her worship here. "She has been helping her faithful children here for centuries. Those who trust in her have never been disappointed. It is not possible to date the statue exactly. Art historians suspect the period of origin because of the curved body line in the Gothic period (1100 to around 1450 AD).
