Hi guys, I tried the Yellow Peel at @blanco_aesthetics and it is basically a mix of actives like Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Phytic Acid, Vit A, Kojic Acid, etc, The peel is kept on for 4 to 8 hours, we did 4 hours for first session, 6 hours for second and so on. I noticed a little purging after the 2nd session, it is normal for the skin to purge after the peel. The dead skin starts peeling 2 days after and the peeling happens in parts and can go on for 2-3 days. For 7 days, you need to skip all your actives and only use a gentle cleanser, lot of moisturiser and sunscreen as the skin would stretch and hurt if dry, especially around the mouth. The doc would recommend 3 to 6 sessions as per the skin’s requirement but I saw a major difference after one session itself. I would highly recommend this a week before any special occasion and if you are a bride to be, I recommend 3 sessions at least. Every session needs a gap of 20-30 days. But overall, my stubborn PIH finally faded and my skin looks much more even toned, hydrated and glowing. Zero filter or makeup here, as always when it comes to skincare.
