Lake Wappapello Missouri State Park - Scenes and Park Review. Amie, and I had a relaxing weekend at Lake Wappapello State Park. This was our first time visiting the park. We would go back. I give it two thumbs up! I still like Johnson Shut-ins and Echo State Parks better. We did a little walking around the camp ground. I went on a bike ride. We had some good camp fires. Grilled some brats, hamburgers and pork steaks which all turned out great. Next time I’m bringing the kayaks. In this video I show some clips of the park our campground, camp fire, grilling, some deer and the lake itself. Also we walked up to the Park Office and saw a bunch of humming birds.
