BigBassDreams's video: Went Electro Fishing Only 1 Around 8lbs 300 other small to medium bass

Bass fishing is finally easy! Who knew? All you need is the right kind of energy ⚡️⚡️⚡️🤣 Here's a little bit of data and insight for you from my first electroshocking survey on a public Southern California lake. About 300 bass were captured. 64 were 12-15" 216 were over 15" Only 3 of those were around the high 6 to low 7 lb range 1 fish at 8.46lbs. ONE. 😐 Coming into this population survey, I was hoping I was wrong with my hypothesis. That the big bass were still there but just not biting my fake fish. Unfortunately, what we've talking about was represented by the survey as medium bass after medium bass came up. The complex story short, the lake, like many of our SoCal lakes are overpopulated. There's simply not enough food and room for bass to grow BIG. I haven't held a bass this big since 2020 on this lake. I haven't held one over 10 on this lake in 12 years. I have caught a lot of what was represented by this electro fishing. I know we all have the shortest attention spans now but this is just a tidbit of data for you to digest.
