Here's a quick, cost effect solution using a very random household item I stole from my wife. I failed to mention in the video that the hot glue will hold better and form a stronger bond if you score the plastic with a knife before you apply the glue. By "score" I mean make little scratches in the plastic so it is ruff and no longer smooth. That will give the glue more surface area to adhere to.
