Watch in HD!!! The conclusion of my day at the Fullerton Amtrak/Metrolink Station on December 20, 2013. I conclude my video with a lot of BNSF and even one more Amtrak action. Information to follow: : As I chuckle in the beginning as the conductor to this BNSF Powermove tried to get a snack at the Santa Fe Express Cafe, but ran out of time and had to get back on board the train to continue their way towards San Bernardino. BNSF 6679 - GE ES44C4 BNSF 4150 - GE C44-9W BNSF 4000 - GE C44-9W BNSF 5059 - GE C44-9W BNSF 5336 - GE C44-9W : After the engineer comes out of the engine behind the lead engine (maybe he liked that bathroom better lol), he turns on the ditch lights and continues his way east towards the Cajon Pass. Also, he was friendly to the Fullerton Foamers and I by giving us a Shave & a Haircut. BNSF 7846 - GE ES44DC BNSF 5164 - GE C44-9W BNSF 7764 - GE ES44DC (DPU) BNSF 7469 - GE ES44DC (DPU) : The quietness of Fullerton is once again interrupted as this Westbound BNSF Doublestack races by on track two towards Hobart Yard. BNSF 7913 - GE ES44DC BNSF 5291 - GE C44-9W BNSF 7267 - GE ES44C4 (DPU) BNSF 6589 - GE ES44C4 (DPU) : Santa Fe once again makes it's presence know as a pair of GP60M's with Santa Fe Cigar Bands are a part of the Westbound BNSF M-BARWAT on track one. Apologies about the shutter being down in the upper right corner of the screen, and me trying to close it. BNSF 7749 - GE ES44DC BNSF (ex ATSF) 111 - EMD GP60M BNSF (ex ATSF) 161 - EMD GP60M BNSF 7762 - GE ES44DC BNSF 7714 - GE ES44DC BNSF 7758 - GE ES44DC : The final Amtrak that I caught that night was Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 790 as it highballs and makes it way south towards San Diego. AMTK 164 - GE P42DC Cabcar 6906 : Once again, my shutter comes partly down as this Westbound BNSF Intermodal makes it's way towards the Ports of Long Beach. It is also good to see an old Dash 9 leading this train. BNSF 5387 - GE C44-9W BNSF 7563 - GE ES44DC : For my last video of the night, I decided to do a low angle go away shot of a Eastbound BNSF Intermodal as it transfers from track three to two. While filming this, it was a little scary on how fast the wind blows behind your back. This concludes my short trip to Fullerton Station for the year 2013. Hopefully I will be back during the first weekend in May for the Fullerton Railroad Days event and say hi to the throngs of Southern California Railfans.
