Pakistani food makes use of fresh hand-pounded masalas. Ghee is used, but the main component of the meal or a dish is meat (beef, lamb, chicken, goat, or fish), and vegetables are sparingly used. Surprisingly, Pakistani food also makes extensive use of olive oil. This is how we would typically start a day. No vegetables, no salads. We eat Naan bread with chick peas or Poori bread with chickpeas and Halwa. Apart from eating feet (there's a recipe) of goats and cows, we drink Lassi as well which is a Cocktail from Yogurt. We drink it a lot. It's like our national drink.
