Bill's Odds N Ends's video: Pirates of the Caribbean POV Oct 2019

@Pirates of the Caribbean POV Oct 2019
A couple of interesting facts about one of my favorite rides. Pirates of the Caribbean was the last ride Walt Disney himself actually oversaw and worked on before his death in December of 1966. In fact, imagineers rigged a chair up to a dolly and pushed Walt through the attraction at the same speed a boat would travel through the attraction! The reason for the drop at Disney World isn't to make the ride more exciting ( but it does that too) but to travel under the railroad tracks to the show building on the other side. Sometimes when you are on the moving walkway after the ride you can hear and feel a train passing by overhead.
