Billy Bolex's video: Morning Musume: Hansel and Gretel Pt 2

This is from “Hello! Morning” of Feb. 5, 2006 and it’s a continuation of a skit that was in the previous week’s show (Jan. 29, 2006) and is also posted here. Maki Goto and Ai Kago return as Hansel and Gretel, as do Hitomi Yoshizawa as “Obasan,” Yuko Nakazawa and Reina Tanaka as policewomen, Nozomi Tsuji as the station agent, Miki Fujimoto as the Blue Bird and Risa Niigaki and Asami Konno as schoolgirls. There are a lot more cast members this time around: Makoto Ogawa and Yui Okada as a young married couple who can’t bear being apart; Rika Ishikawa as Michiru (aka Mytyl, from Maeterlinck’s “The Blue Bird”); Erika Miyoshi as another schoolgirl; Ai Takahashi as an angel who appeals to the Blue Bird’s better side; and Sayumi Michishige as a black angel who lures the Blue Bird to the dark side. A lot happens and the segment sure could use some subtitles, but I posted it for the sheer range of Hello! Project members on display and, more significantly, for Ai Kago’s last appearance in a skit on “Hello! Morning.” She appeared in one more segment of this show (a winter sports bit posted separately as “Ai Kago: Last Appearance on Hello! Morning”) and was gone from Hello! Project for years afterwards, after her scandal broke only days after this show aired. (She returned to the H!P stage in 2018.)
