Billy Bolex's video: Morning Musume: Hansel and Gretel Pt 1

This is one of the bus station skits from Hello! Morning and was shown on Jan. 29, 2006. Former Morning Musume members Maki Goto and Ai Kago play Hansel and Gretel, but they don’t appear until the midway point. Before then, there’s frenetic interaction among series regulars and then-current MM members Hitomi Yoshizawa as “Obasan,” who runs the concession stand at the station; Nozomi Tsuji and Eri Kamei as station agents; Risa Niigaki and Asami Konno as flustered school children; and Miki Fujimoto as the Blue Bird of Maurice Maeterlinck’s famous story, who leaves deposits of golden poop wherever she goes. Hansel and Gretel turn up when the place is empty and proceed to loot candy and snacks from the concession stand, assuming that it's theirs for the taking, thus attracting the attention of policewomen played by Yuko Nakazawa and Reina Tanaka. The action continues in Part 2, which aired the following week (Feb. 5, 2006) and is posted here separately. Part 2 is significant because it was the last Hello! Morning skit Ai Kago appeared in before her scandal cut short her career with Hello! Project.
