This session focuses solely on the SME and Subcontractor and will explain why BIM cannot be ignored. Have you heard about the perceived benefits of BIM? Do you know how to obtain them? Are you aware of the open BIM format that minimises the technology investments required? Are you following a BIM agenda that satisfies the industry wide standards or the agenda of a few? SME's are often unaware of many BIM related initiatives so the establishment of specific communication channels is vital. The SW BIM Hub is committed to developing these communication channels with the entire supply chain. It is essential thet SME's and Subcontractors are involved to shape the BIM process for the future.
