Date of Journey : 12th February 2022 Train Details - 12123/24 Mumbai CSMT - Pune Junction Deccan Queen is a Daily Indian passenger Train Service operated by the Central Railway zone of the Indian Railways connecting the cities of Mumbai and Pune. Introduced on June 1, 1930, the Deccan Queen was India's first superfast train, first long-distance electric-hauled train, first vestibuled train, the first train to have a ‘women-only’ car, and the first train to feature a dining car. Deccan Queen is currently the fastest train between Mumbai to Pune which includes only three halts (Karjat, Lonavala, Shivajinagar) and covers 190kms in 3hrs 15mins with an average speed of 58km/hr and a top speed of 110km/hr. This train is significantly popular among daily passengers and as well train enthusiasts. Currently serving its last ICF coaches runs soon it will be changed into LHB Coaches & do you know this train is ISO Certified. Coach Composition : 1 Executive Chair Car (EV1) ICF Vistadome (Prakriti), 11 Second Sitting (2S), 4 AC Chair Car (CC).
