We attended the screening of 'Some Things', which is an independent film, based on true events, about an innocent young girl who gets caught up in a world of domestic violence, child abuse and bullying. Sex abuse involving children is a topic that for many years has been 'swept under the rug' so as to speak amongst the Afro Caribbean and Asian communities and yet while researching for this project, numerous harrowing tales came to light.
