BladeRunnerBlues's video: High vs Very High Textures Comparison Rise of the Tomb Raider PC Footage @ Max Graphics Settings

@High vs Very High Textures Comparison! Rise of the Tomb Raider PC Footage @ Max Graphics Settings
Is it worth upgrading your graphics card for the extra VRAM just to play this game at very high textures? In this video, I attempt to answer that question by comparing the high textures to the very high textures. Seventeen different locations are used so as to leave no doubt in your mind. I use both overlays and side-by-side comparisons to help make up your mind. So please comment and let me know what you think. This is after the third patch* had been applied and I am using the latest AMD drivers. *[02-19-2016] patch 1.0.623.2 (Patch ) Including PC Gameplay at Maximum Graphics Settings at 1080p HD. Gameplay footage captured via FRAPs or DXtory. Edited via Corel Videostudio X7 or X8. Why the text to speech program? Five reasons: 1. Originally my mic wasn't working (motherboard connection problem). 2. I also wished to remain anonymous (what with uploading copyrighted material and all). 3. This method proved to be more convenient 4. It sounds more professional, like those voiceovers in documentaries. Sure it also sounds unnatural sometimes, but it is still the clearest, most human sounding voice out there at the moment. 5. I am currently in a noisy environment where it is sometimes impossible to record a voice commentary without interruptions. So even if I do decide to use my own voice, it will not be anytime soon.
