Dus weg met de wasmachine, het koffiezetapparaat en de X-Box! Wat kun je allemaal doen om het toch nog leuk te hebben zonder tv en computer? En hoe hou je jezelf schoon als je eigenlijk geen water meer mag gebruiken? Elk gezin staat onder leiding van een van de kinderen. Als teamcaptain gaan zij voorop in de strijd. Ook houden alle teamcaptains een videodagboek bij, waarin ze laten zien hoe het in huis gaat.
