Blue Shell's video: What If Nintendo Made Metroid 5 Metroid Fusion Sequel

It has been almost 20 years since we got Metroid Fusion on the Gameboy Advanced. We all want a new 2D Metroid on the Nintendo Switch. This could happen maybe due to it being Metroid's 35th Anniversary this year. In today's video we will be looking at the possibility of Nintendo making Metroid 5 from its narrative, gameplay and visuals. We will also be looking into Metroid Dread. Nintendo has brought a new Renaissance to many fan-favorite franchises. From Zelda with Breath of the Wild and Breath of the Wild 2, Pokemon with a home console main game being Sword and Shield, and that’s not to mention the many Mario series that have experienced a revival. And yet, there’s almost no news of Metroid. A series that was once a Titan of the Nintendo Lineup, is no longer just taking a back seat but has been left at the gas station altogether. What’s weird, is that we almost had a resurgence, with the announcement of Metroid Prime 4, and the release of the first 2D Metroid title (Metroid: Samus Returns for 3DS) in over 10 years. Yet, even now 3 - 4 years after the announcement of Prime 4, there’s still no trailer, no gameplay, just a logo, and some rumors on Twitter.
