But at least we get to see a little of how things might have been for the two of them if they never had to fight each other. This one seems to be like a reincarnation scene though, since clothes like these seem pretty modern compared to the medieval ones they had on in the story. This is pretty much a love song originally, since it was never really made for this story. This song was released in an album by Aoyagi Mai much earlier before this chapter was made, and I'm guessing they just slotted this song in because of... reasons? (The Aoyagi Mai song featured in Deemo v2.0 was also from the same album.) But take note that the 'love' they speak here could really just be that of best friends, though if you want to go the shipping route you're free to do that too, haha.
