You ever wonder how great Grandma cooked or baked before the electric range. Well I have a surviving "Round Oak wood stove", made in the 50's. My mom cooked on one in the farm house we had. The only power to the house was for light. One clear glass bulb in almost every room. It hung down on a wire, You pulled the chain on the socket to turn the light on and off. Now we can not think of not having all that electricity brings.
