Bobaklives's video: Andre Heidari kicks first USC PAT facing the peristyle end of the LA Coliseum

True freshman kicker Andre Heidari ( ) kicked his first extra point after a touchdown in the opening game against Minnesota, but it was toward the closed end of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Against Utah the following week he had the opportunity to kick his first Field Goal, as well as his first Extra Point toward the iconic peristyle side of the historic Coliseum. This was the first of two PATs in the 23-14 victory (a final TD took place at the end of regulation with the game in hand, negating the need for a PAT). Special Teams Coach John Baxter and head coach Lane Kiffin employ a quick switch from a 2-point to extra point stance with almost every PAT to force the opposing team to have to use practice time prep for the possibility of either play. Of the three PATs in week one, two were 2-point attempts; in week two, both PATs were extra point attempts. September 10, 2011.
