True freshman kicker Andre Heidari ( ) kicks the second extra point against the Utah Utes in the inaugural Pacific 12 Conference game. This was the second of two PATs in the 23-14 victory (a final TD took place at the end of regulation with the game in hand, negating the need for a PAT). Special Teams Coach John Baxter and head coach Lane Kiffin employ a quick switch from a 2-point to extra point stance with almost every PAT to force the opposing team to have to use practice time prep for the possibility of either play. Of the three PATs in week one, two were 2-point attempts; in week two, both PATs were extra point attempts. September 10, 2011.
