Childhood memories are ever vivid and soulful. This visual & musical avant-garde attempt is enchanting the child within. “Mathevar” is the pyramid-shaped figures made of clay representing Vamana, who is Lord Maha Vishnu in disguise, and are placed near the Pookkalam (floral carpets), welcoming the homecoming of mythical Asura King Mahabali. The joyfulness of Onam is depicted in the screenplay through a child waiting for his father’s return to celebrate and embrace the festive moments.
