Bodyboard School's video: Why Would A Bodyboarder Visit Nusa Lembongan - Bodyboard-Holidays

@Why Would A Bodyboarder Visit Nusa Lembongan? - Bodyboard-Holidays
In order to travel to Nusa Lembongan you fly in to Denpasar airport in Bali and then travel by boat from Sanur. It’s an enjoyable journey and seeing the huge wave filled bay and docking on a white sand beach is a great way to start a trip. From there you will settle in to your accommodation, which is on the beachfront. Expect good quality individual bungalows an infinity pool, sea front bar/restaurant and a very welcoming staff team. Each time you go bodyboarding you will be picked up from in front of the accommodation by our own captain who offers us a water taxi to which ever wave is the best for that session. You get dropped off at the line up and surf your brains out before being picked up again. If the swell is small there are wave magnets that seem to never go flat. When the swell is big we seek shelter in the protected bays. There are a number of undiscovered spots that we have named and always enjoy empty line-ups at those locations. When you explore the island you will be surprised by how welcoming and friendly the locals are. They live a simple life and are always interested to engage in friendly chatter. The local children will wave as you drive past them. The lush jungle, white sand and translucent blue waters of the ocean make for breath taking views so we arrange a number of treks and excursions for our groups to embrace not only Nusa Lembongan but the neighbouring islands. A highlight of any trip is snorkeling with the Manta Rays. These huge, inquisitive beasts will swim close to you with a motion like a swooping bird. You will never forget the first time that one swims near to you; it’s a jaw dropping moment of exhilaration, fear and adrenaline. To see these creatures in the wild is worth the trip alone. The island has some lovely secret beaches; there is a cool mangrove tour and historical temples to visit. If you have bodyboarded enough for one day there is plenty of other things to do. With a wide variety of beachfront restaurants dotted along the coast there is food to suit all budgets. Enjoy traditional Indonesian dishes, western food, excellent vegan restaurants and the freshest fish dishes in the world. Nusa Lembongan should be on every bodyboarders bucket list!
