Early May, and here comes a Thomas Cook Airbus A321-211 (OY-VKD) from Rhodes. This is quite a common charter visitor here at Vaasa. I was actually hoping to spot the Novair A321neos, but they always came late evening, early morning and during my work time, but Thomas Cook A321 will do :) A Finnair Embraer 190LR (OH-LKO) also came from Helsinki. And some parachute action with a Cessna T128T (OH-CAD) flying around. Both planes then flew to Helsinki, with Thomas Cook being empty of course. Also listen to the engine startup of the A321, I dont think Ive ever heard an engine that sound like a lawn mower. I hope they go in the same path as Tui and starts operating routes with wide body planes (Airbus A330) to Vaasa in the future. They do it with some swedish reginal airports similar size as Vaasa airport.
