Yucca is a plant that I personally discovered would work with this method back in early 2015(the FIRST Yucca Fire Roll video on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRieWMaTU34 ). It was an easy choice for me to pick for this method because of its strong fibers. The technique I use in the video to separate the Yucca fibers using a nickel is something my wife taught me years back. She has been using coins to separate Yucca fibers for many years. I have used stones to separate the Yucca fibers similarly. I am happy to have introduced another friction fire method using this wonderful plant. Alternatively, rust can be used.
